Aline Pusecker Taylor, Writer

Work by Aline Pusecker Taylor has appeared in Literary Mama, Better than Starbucks Magazine, The Penmen Review, Pudding Magazine, and other publications. “Pride Goeth Before the Fall Parent-Teacher Conference” won the 2024 Erma Bombeck Writing Competition, local humor category, and “The Glob” received an honorable mention in the 50 Precious Words International Writing Contest. “For Landon” won a commended award in the Tom Howard/John H. Reid poetry contest. Her essay, “Grandmas Gone Wild,” made the final round of the Erma Bombeck 2018 Writing Competition and is the seed for her novel, The Exterminating List.

In addition to managing a retirement complex, Aline has worked as a recruiting assistant, candidate sourcer, and reading tutor. When not writing, she loves to spend time with her family, camp, hike, and flip shells on the beach.
